About The Role
We are looking for an Asian Food Production Line Employee to join our production team in JAFZA, UAE. In this role, you will support the daily preparation and production of Asian food items to ensure quality, safety, and consistency in line with HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC, BRC, and ISO 22301 standards. You will also follow safety, security, and environmental procedures to maintain a clean, compliant, and efficient production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve:
- Preparing, cooking, and producing Asian food items in line with standardized recipes and quality standards.
- Operating and maintaining food processing and packaging machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitoring mise en place, portioning, presentation, and nutrient retention to ensure consistency.
- Following Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and participating in emergency drills to support uninterrupted operations.
- Handling raw materials, food products, and chemicals safely in accordance with MSDS and food safety standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in workstations, storage, and production areas.
- Completing closing duties such as proper food storage, labeling, rotation, and cleaning of equipment and work areas.
- Supporting audits, safety inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reporting incidents, accidents, or issues that may impact safety or production continuity.
- Assisting superiors with additional production tasks as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
- 23 years of culinary experience in an Asian specialty restaurant or food production facility.
- Approved/recognized Food Handling/Sanitation Certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
