Job Description

The Copywriter will be responsible for developing high-quality, strategic, and commercially focused content across multiple platforms to support betterhomes marketing objectives. The role requires producing compelling written content for research papers, market reports, social media, email campaigns, WhatsApp campaigns, brochures, presentations, scripts, and other

marketing materials.

The Copywriter will play a key role in maintaining brand consistency, elevating thought leadership, and ensuring messaging resonates with landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, investors, and internal stakeholders.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

To be successful, you must demonstrate exceptional writing ability, strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously. Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Content Development

Write marketing copy for brochures, presentations, pitch decks, website pages and other marketing materials

Write and edit scripts for brand videos, and educational content

Support the preparation and formatting of research papers and market reports (content editing, structure, clarity, consistency)

Editing & Quality Control

Proofread and edit marketing materials before publication to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and brand

consistency

Review content from internal teams to ensure alignment with tone of voice and messaging guidelines

Ensure all content meets company standards before release

Campaign & Brand Support

Develop copy for integrated marketing campaigns for betterhomes and also cross-selling across online and offline

channels

Adapt messaging for different audiences including landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, and agents

Ensure consistency of tone and positioning across all communication touchpoints

Coordination & Process

Work closely with design, digital, PR, and sales teams to deliver content on time

Support content optimisation based on feedback and performance insights

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field

24 years experience in copywriting, content marketing, journalism, or similar role

Experience in real estate, property, or professional services is an advantage but not essential.

Specific Job Abilities:

Exceptional written and editing skills in English

Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content

Strong understanding of brand voice and tone consistency

Commercial awareness and ability to write with conversion in mind

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work collaboratively across departments

Comfortable using AI and digital tools to enhance content efficiency

Strategic thinking and ability to align content with business objectives

Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
