Corporate Advisory Legal Counsel (Construction) : Lead Role

Description

* Provide expert legal advice on all construction-related matters, including contractor sourcing, supply agreements, regulations, restrictive covenants, and insurance provisions.

* Draft and negotiate complex construction contracts and agreements, ensuring they minimize risk and maximize the organization's legal rights. Develop contract templates and improve contract management processes.

* Respond to regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with government requirements, protecting the organization's legal interests.

* Contribute to developing and implementing a value-added legal strategy aligned with the organization's needs. Prepare policy and procedure proposals for the legal function.

* Counsel and advise internal departments on construction contractual cases and related legal matters. Liaise with external law firms, construction service providers, and government institutions.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Law (Master's preferred). Professional certification is desirable.

* 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate legal advisory services, with at least 3 years in a managerial position or similar role within the construction industry.

* Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex construction contracts and other legal agreements.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic language skills are desirable.

* Knowledge and understanding of the tourism industry, regionally and globally, is beneficial.
