Job Description

A leading destination development company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly experienced Director of Corporate Communications to drive strategic communication, strengthen corporate reputation, and lead stakeholder engagement across local, regional, and global audiences.

This role is central to one of Saudi Arabia's most high‑profile development programs and requires a structured, visionary, and bilingual communications leader with deep sector experience.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Corporate Communications

  • Oversee the full corporate communications framework, policies, and governance model.
  • Lead integrated communication strategies that support the organization's long‑term vision and strategic priorities.
  • Direct external communications, including media relations, digital communications, and public relations.
  • Ensure all corporate communication platforms including website, press materials, and digital channels reflect brand and strategic direction.
  • Manage relationships with creative agencies and communications partners to ensure quality and alignment.
  • Oversee crisis communication, reputational risk management, and stakeholder response planning.
  • Drive content development to ensure unified, impactful messaging across all communication channels.

Content Development & Storytelling

  • Create compelling narratives that showcase the company's milestones, partnerships, achievements, and transformation impact.
  • Develop speeches, articles, case studies, award submissions, web content, and communication packages for senior leadership.
  • Bring the company's long‑term vision to life through structured, inspiring storytelling.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent, and aligned messaging.
  • Support joint ventures, development partners, and investors with tailored B2B communication tools and materials.
  • Provide senior leadership with expert guidance on communication strategy, media positioning, and stakeholder engagement.

Leadership, Planning & Governance

  • Lead and mentor the Corporate Communications team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
  • Develop structured annual, quarterly, and weekly communication plans with a clear three‑year strategic roadmap.
  • Manage departmental budgets, KPIs, performance tracking, and reporting.
  • Champion continuous improvement, structured processes, and professional communication standards.

Role Requirements

Core Focus

  • Address both B2B communication, supporting development partners, investors, and joint ventures but also addresses public and community‑facing communication across 1. Jeddah, 2. Saudi Arabia, 3. The GCC region, 4. International audiences.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong background in real estate development, master planning, or destination development. Government exposure is a plus.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English -Arabic is essential for cultural relevance and professional messaging but excellent English is also required.
  • Ability to build structured long‑term communication plans (annual, quarterly, weekly).
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to articulate a compelling vision and highlight major project milestones.
  • Excellent understanding of media a balanced strategy across:
  • 70% local & regional media,
  • 30% international/global media.
  • Strong understanding of digital communication, executive communication, and media relations.

  • Prefers predictability, strategic preparation, and process-oriented communication over ad-hoc responses.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred) - high GPA is a plus.
  • Minimum 13 years of relevant professional experience, including 5 years in a managerial leadership role.
  • Proven track record in corporate communications within large organizations, real estate developers, giga‑projects, or government-backed entities.
  • Strong writing, editing, presentation, and messaging skills.
  • Deep understanding of communication practices in Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
