The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the corporate budgeting process, leading financial planning, and providing insights to optimize company resources and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the corporate budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and prepare reports that provide insight into business performance
- Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant data for effective budgeting and financial decision-making
- Develop and implement financial models to support forecasting and budgeting activities
- Monitor budgetary compliance and performance, identifying variances and areas for improvement
- Provide leadership in identifying key financial performance indicators and benchmarks
- Support the CFO and senior management in strategic planning initiatives, ensuring financial feasibility
- Facilitate training sessions for budget holders to enhance their understanding of financial processes
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and report findings to assist in strategic business decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certification (CMA, CFA) is a plus
- 7+ years of experience in corporate finance, budgeting, or financial planning and analysis roles
- Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
- Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel; familiarity with financial software and ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
