A premier international offshore law firm is seeking a 5+ PQE Associate to join its highly regarded Funds & Corporate team in Dubai. This is an opportunity to work within one of the market-leading offshore practices advising global asset managers, financial institutions and multinational corporates on sophisticated cross-border matters involving British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands law.

With offices across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, the firm is recognised for its depth in offshore funds, private equity and corporate transactions. The Dubai office forms a key part of its global platform, advising clients operating across the GCC and internationally.

The Role

You will work across a broad spectrum of offshore funds and corporate matters, including:

• Formation, structuring and ongoing advisory work for hedge funds, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, energy, credit, venture capital and digital asset funds
• Corporate transactions including joint ventures, acquisitions, series financings and restructurings
• Advising on Cayman and BVI regulatory and governance matters
• Supporting cross-border transactions alongside onshore counsel and global offices
• Participating in associate-led business development and client relationship initiatives

You will work closely with partners and senior counsel on complex matters while building direct client relationships and taking increasing ownership of transactions.

The Candidate

• 5+ years PQE in corporate and/or investment funds from a recognised Commonwealth jurisdiction
• Strong academic background with experience gained at a leading international or offshore firm
• Solid technical grounding in funds and corporate work (offshore exposure advantageous but not essential)
• Commercially astute, proactive and confident in client interactions
• Motivated to contribute to business development and practice growth

Offshore experience (Cayman/BVI/Channel Islands) or familiarity with offshore financial service providers is beneficial but not mandatory high-calibre onshore funds or corporate lawyers seeking to transition offshore are encouraged to consider this move.
