Cost analysis and control: Identify and analyze cost drivers, prepare cost reports, and recommend cost-saving strategies. Conduct detailed analysis of operational expenses, cost variances, and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in creating budgets, forecasting costs, and monitoring performance against the budget through variance analysis.
Financial reporting: Produce monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports for senior management.
Pricing support: Provide cost-based data to help management in setting prices for products and services.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to cost accounting standards and regulations
Monitoring and reporting: Monitor expenditures, track financial performance, and prepare accurate and timely reports, including variances, for management and stakeholders
- Ensure accurate product costing, margin analysis, and cost optimization.
Process improvement: Work with production and operational teams to improve efficiency and implement cost-effective strategies
Qualification & Skills:
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (CMA preferred)
3+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing; strong knowledge of standard costing, absorption costing, and BOM/routings; SAP experience (SAP B1, or equivalent); advanced Excel and data-analysis skills; familiarity with Power BI/SQL a plus; and excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
