Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Accountant located in Alexandria, Egypt. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining cost records and financial statements, analyzing cost data, managing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with accounting and financial regulations. The role involves detailed financial analysis to identify cost optimization opportunities and provide insights for strategic decision-making, collaborating closely with the finance and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Cost Accounting, with the ability to manage detailed cost records and reports
• Experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
• Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data and identifying optimization opportunities
• Competency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and a solid understanding of accounting principles
• Strong Finance knowledge and the ability to ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is an advantage
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills
