Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Cost Accountant role located in Cairo, Egypt. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing manufacturing costs, preparing financial statements, performing detailed financial analysis, and assisting in creating budgets. Additional responsibilities include managing journal entries, supporting the finance team, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Cost Accounting and preparing accurate Financial Statements.
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 35 years of practical experience in cost accounting and financial field.
• ERP system experience preferred.
• Experience with Journal Entries and understanding of general accounting principles.
• Solid understanding of Finance and budgeting processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines.
