Tagaddod is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The Cost Accountant will focus on analyzing costs and preparing detailed reports to aid in strategic decision-making and enhance financial performance across our operations. This role is critical for ensuring accurate costing, budgeting, and analysis of our waste management initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze costs and prepare cost reports for managerial decision-making
- Evaluate product costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses
- Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets and forecasts
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to improve profitability
- Support month-end close processes by providing cost data and analysis
- Collaborate with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and track efficiency
- Maintain accurate cost accounting records and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience as a Cost Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of cost accounting principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
