Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Control Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, validating, and reporting cost performance across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring financial transparency and accuracy while supporting decision-making through precise cost analysis.
- Assist in preparing and updating project cost reports and dashboards.
- Support the monitoring of project budgets and track cost variances.
- Help review and validate subcontractors and suppliers invoices.
- Maintain cost-related documentation and assist in monthly financial reports.
- Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to collect cost data.
- Support cost forecasting and assist in analyzing project performance (CPI, SPI).
- Assist in identifying potential cost overruns and reporting deviations.
- Ensure cost control procedures are implemented and followed on site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cost control, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Basic knowledge of cost management tools (Excel, ERP systems, etc.).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
