Position: Manufacturing Cost Controller

Location: KSA - Dammam

Type: Full-time

• Job Summary:

As a Manufacturing Cost Controller, you play a pivotal role in understanding and managing cost drivers and maintaining control over manufacturing costs. Your responsibilities include developing standard unit costs and Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring inventory accuracy, and strategizing with department heads to minimize waste. You conduct cost analyses, implement cost-cutting measures, and roll out cost-saving programs. Your role also involves managing period-end and year-end closings, overseeing budgets for Manufacturing & Manufacturing Service Cost Centers, and establishing internal controls. You create detailed analyses and reports for the P&L and develop production analysis reports to aid decision-makers.

• Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cost Management: 3

1. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of cost drivers and their interdependencies.
2. Participate in developing unit standard costs and BOMs for new and existing products, ensuring accuracy.
3. Ensure standards for material, labor, and overhead rates are accurate.
4. Collaborate with department heads to strategize waste reduction.
5. Conduct cost analyses to identify cost reduction opportunities.
6. Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures.
7. Roll out cost-saving programs with clear timelines and assessment goals.

• Financial Reporting:

1. Manage period-end and year-end closings of the Manufacturing Cycle.
2. Develop and follow-up on budgets for all Manufacturing & Manufacturing Service Cost Centers.
3. Build a comprehensive detailed analyses and reporting structure for the P&L, particularly the cost of goods manufactured portion.

• Control and Efficiency:

1. Maximize efficiency at all levels without compromising quality.
2. Perform monthly analysis of variances (Labor, PPV, Overhead).
3. Establish and maintain internal controls.
4. Ensure appropriate controls and structures for scrap and cycle count reporting.
5. Develop production analysis reports and tools to assist decision-makers.

• Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance or a relevant field is strongly preferred.
2. Minimum of 4 years experience working in cost control.
3. Proficiency in SAP ERP system is a requirement.
4. CMA certification is preferred.
5. Management experience is strongly preferred.
6. Exceptional organizational skills with a strong aptitude for data.
7. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to generate budgets and reports.
9. Strong presentation skills, with the ability to explain concepts concisely and accurately.
10. Ability to develop strong, cooperative relationships with department heads.
11. Creative thinking skills and problem-solving ability.
