Job Summary

Leading the company's operations and expansion in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on driving business growth, securing new engineering consulting projects, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. The Country Manager will oversee the local office operations, ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, and lead the development of a strong local team while aligning country performance with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement the company's market entry and expansion strategy in Saudi Arabia to support business growth.
  2. Identify and pursue business development opportunities with government entities, developers, contractors, and private sector clients.
  3. Lead the preparation of proposals, tenders, negotiations, and contract agreements for new projects.
  4. Establish and maintain strong client relationships and strategic partnerships within the Saudi market.
  5. Represent the company in meetings with clients, government authorities, and industry stakeholders.
  6. Oversee the successful delivery of engineering consulting projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance.
  7. Coordinate with project managers, technical teams, and regional offices to ensure efficient project execution.
  8. Manage the day-to-day operations of the KSA office, including operational planning and resource management.
  9. Ensure full compliance with Saudi regulations, licensing requirements, and local authority approvals.
  10. Develop and manage the country's budget and financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  11. Provide regular reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management regarding business performance.
  12. Build, lead, and develop a high-performing local team, including recruitment and performance management.
  13. Establish strategic alliances or joint ventures with local consultants and contractors when required.
  14. Promote the company's brand presence and reputation within the Saudi engineering consulting market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in engineering consulting, construction, or project management.
  • Extensive experience working in the Saudi Arabian market is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in business development and securing engineering consulting projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi regulatory requirements, authorities, and approval processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and large-scale projects.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and financial management capabilities.
