A Who the hell are we

EGi isn't your average company. We're the engine behind Iraq's biggest entertainment, gaming, and content movement from producing viral shows in our state-of-the-art studios to building the first all-in-one app for gamers packed with tournaments, original content, and social tools.

Now, we're looking for a Creative Strategist someone who doesn't just think of ideas but builds worlds, narratives, campaigns, and movements. Someone who understands culture deeply, reads the trends before they trend, and knows how to turn insight into impact.

You live in the overlap of creativity, culture, and strategy.

You look at a brief and already know the hook, the angle, the community moment, the headline, the activation, and the storyline.

You're not just a strategist you're a storyteller, concept architect, audience psychologist, and brand builder all in one.

You know how to make things mean something.

C What you'll be doing (aka crafting the ideas that make everything fire):

  • Build campaign concepts, narratives, and strategic directions for lifestyle, gaming, entertainment, and youth-focused projects.
  • Translate insights, data, and cultural signals into creative frameworks that guide design, content, and production.
  • Work with content, design, production, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life across all mediums.
  • Develop positioning, messaging, hooks, and storytelling structures for shows, campaigns, and brand moments.
  • Lead creative brainstorming sessions and push the team past safe ideas into category-defining work.
  • Ensure all creative outputs align with audience behavior, platform logic, and brand identity.
  • Shape the creative tone of EGi and its sub-brands from campaigns to community engagement.

E What you bring to the table:

  • 4+ years in creative strategy, brand strategy, content strategy, or a similar role (agency or in-house).
  • A portfolio of ideas, campaigns, decks, or narratives that show you can build concepts that actually move people.
  • Strong understanding of youth culture, gaming culture, and digital behavior across platforms.
  • Ability to turn messy information into sharp insights and clear creative directions.
  • Excellent storytelling, copywriting, and presentation skills.
  • Comfort leading brainstorms, shaping narratives, and steering projects from idea to execution.

F Bonus XP:

  • Experience in gaming, entertainment, content, or youth-centric brands.
  • Ability to write scripts, hooks, or campaign lines that punch above their weight.
  • Understanding of creator culture, community building, and social-first thinking.
  • You think fast, adapt fast, and can speak fluent meme when required.
