About the Role:

We are hiring a Credit Analyst for a fast-growing fintech company in the UAE. The role will focus on credit risk evaluation, lending decision support, and portfolio performance management, ensuring alignment with business goals and UAE regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess creditworthiness of SME customers using financial statements, bank data, and credit bureau reports

• Conduct detailed credit and risk analysis; prepare credit appraisal reports

• Recommend credit limits, pricing, and risk mitigation strategies

• Monitor loan portfolio performance and identify early warning signals

• Collaborate with underwriting, sales, and risk teams to support lending decisions

• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and UAE regulatory guidelines

• Support periodic credit reviews, renewals, and restructuring of facilities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–5 years of experience as a Credit Analyst / Risk Analyst or similar role

• Mandatory experience in FinTech, NBFC, Banking, or Financial Services

• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, lending products, and financial analysis

• Experience handling SME, retail, or digital lending portfolios

• Proficiency in Excel and credit analysis tools

• Knowledge of UAE credit bureaus and regulatory frameworks (preferred)

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
