Company Description

The UTSC Student Managed Fund (the Fund) is a pioneering initiative by the Department of Management and the University of Toronto Scarborough Library Finance & Trading Lab. The Fund provides a dynamic experiential learning environment where BBA students gain hands-on experience managing an investment fund, covering all aspects of the investment process, including research, security selection, trading, and compliance. This program prepares students for careers in global capital markets, including asset management, research, trading, and investment banking. It also fosters a strong alumni network by encouraging continued involvement as mentors and advisors, enhancing the learning experience at UTSC.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Crypto Marketing professional. The role involves conducting market research on cryptocurrency trends, developing and executing marketing strategies, building client relationships, managing communications, and supporting customer acquisition efforts. The candidate will play a key role in shaping the Fund's engagement with the crypto market, promoting its initiatives, and collaborating with the team to achieve its strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Communication and Customer Service to enhance relationships with stakeholders and clients
• Experience with Market Research and the ability to analyze trends within the cryptocurrency sector
• Proficiency in developing Marketing Strategies and executing them to achieve organizational goals
• Knowledge of Sales and client engagement processes
• Familiarity with the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry is a strong asset
• Ability to work independently and remotely while meeting project deadlines
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred
