Functional Responsibilities
- Policy Management:
- Assist in renewal business for various non-motor insurance policies (e.g., property, liability, Engineering etc.).
- Provide clients with detailed information on non-motor insurance products and recommend the most appropriate coverage.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain records of policy transactions and ensure policy terms and conditions are clearly communicated.
2. Customer Support:
- Handle inquiries from clients regarding non-motor insurance policies during the renewal process.
- Provide after-sales services, including issuance of policies, certificates etc.
- Build strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term retention and satisfaction.
3. Risk Assessment:
- Assist in evaluating and assessing risk for various types of non-motor insurance.
- Analyze historical data, claim history, and risk exposure to help underwriters make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to provide feedback on potential risks and premium calculations.
4. Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Be aware of all department risks, responsibilities and adhere to the same.
- Identify and report suspicious activities or potential fraud as per internal guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and disclosures.
5. Sales and Marketing Support:
- Assist the sales team in promoting non-motor insurance products to clients.
- Provide technical knowledge to help with close renewals on non-motor insurance products.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling other insurance products based on client needs.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on policy performance and client portfolios.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
- This role requires both technical knowledge and interpersonal skills, ensuring clients receive appropriate non-motor insurance products while managing the entire policy lifecycle.
