Role Overview
As the CTO at Aumet, you will be the primary architect of the region's first Autonomous
Procurement Engine for healthcare. Aumet is moving beyond a B2B marketplace to an
AI-native ecosystem. Your mission is to evolve our Aumet Hero data platform into a predictive
powerhouse that eliminates medication waste ($2.3M+ target) and automates the supply chain
for over 5,000 pharmacies.
Key Responsibilities
- AI/ML Strategy: Lead the roadmap for automated stock replenishment, dynamic pricing,
and demand forecasting.
- Engineering Integration: Oversee the technical synergy between our Python-based
ML models and our core PHP (Backend) and Vue.js (Frontend) stack.
- Architecture & DevOps: Own the high-level System Design and Database
Architecture (BigQuery/PostgreSQL) to ensure our cloud infrastructure scales across
multiple countries.
- Data Leadership: Transform raw transactional data (600k+ annual orders) into
proprietary insights that provide a competitive moat for Aumet.
- Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and lead a multi-national team of Data Scientists and
DevOps Engineers.
Technical Requirements
- Languages: Expert in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch); solid
understanding of PHP and Vue.js to guide full-stack integration.
- Infrastructure: Proven experience in Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and DevOps
(CI/CD, Containerization/Docker).
- Systems: Deep knowledge of System Design for high-traffic platforms and complex
Database Architectures.
- Experience: 7+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in a leadership role (Head
of AI, Lead Data Scientist, or similar).
