The Role

As a Culinary Coordinator, you will act as the communication bridge between the culinary and other departments, ensuring the smooth flow of operations in the culinary and coordinating logistical needs. You will be responsible for organizing and maintaining culinary inventory, placing orders for supplies, managing culinary schedules, and ensuring that all culinary staff have the tools and resources they need to perform their duties efficiently. Your role will also include maintaining cleanliness, order, and proper documentation in the culinary. You will play a vital role in ensuring the culinary runs smoothly and efficiently to deliver the best culinary experience for our guests.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As a Culinary Coordinator, you will need to:

  • Coordinate all culinary operations, including order placement, inventory control, and communication between the culinary and other departments.
  • Ensure that all culinary supplies, ingredients, and equipment are well-organized, properly stored, and readily accessible to culinary staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of culinary inventory, order supplies as needed, and track deliveries to ensure all culinary needs are met.
  • Assist in managing the culinary schedule, ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained to meet operational needs.
  • Monitor food quality and consistency, ensuring that dishes are prepared according to the correct recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe culinary environment, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and regularly cleaned.
  • Handle the timely delivery of culinary supplies and communicate with suppliers regarding inventory requirements.
  • Liaise with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and other team members to ensure that culinary operations run efficiently and smoothly.
  • Help train new culinary staff on the operational procedures, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Assist with menu planning, food costing, and budgeting, providing support to ensure the culinary operates within the budgetary constraints.
  • Perform any additional duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the culinary and overall guest satisfaction.
