Main Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level technical support for Automation and OSI PI software, including troubleshooting, problem analysis, and resolution.
- Assist customers in optimizing the performance and functionality of OSI PI solutions within their automation environments.
- Lead and mentor junior support engineers, providing guidance on complex technical issues and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve critical issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Develop and deliver technical training to customers and internal teams on OSI PI software and automation systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles, technical guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Monitor and manage support cases to ensure SLAs are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Participate in the testing and validation of software updates, patches, and configurations.
- Provide feedback to product development teams on recurring issues and feature Requests
Qualifications:
- B.S. Computer Engineering, or any related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Technical Engineer or equivalent.
- Proficiency in OSI PI, AVEVA System platform, InTouch, Historian, and database applications.
- Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, and scripting is beneficial.
- Must have worked in a large-scale System Platform implementation.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients effectively.
