Job Title: Cybersecurity Governance & Compliance Expert

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Contract Type: Permanent position on the payroll of the client

Notice Period: 30 days or less (preferred)

Client Industry : Technical Consulting Services ( Quality Assurance - Testing, Inspection and Certification)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Governance & Compliance Expert to join a prestigious Authority in Riyadh. You will be responsible for ensuring the maturity and compliance of the cybersecurity framework with all applicable regulations, policies, and standards. This is a critical role for safeguarding institutional resilience and contractual security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the compliance of the Authority's cybersecurity program with all applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and international standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to align with the Authority's objectives and risk appetite.
  • Analyze existing governance documents and assess the organization's level of compliance with institutional regulations and directives.
  • Evaluate and test cybersecurity resilience aspects, including the effectiveness of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP).
  • Assess and oversee cybersecurity compliance requirements within third-party contracts and vendor agreements, ensuring security controls are adequately addressed and maintained.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of direct experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NCA ECC, NIST, ISO 27001) and relevant Saudi Arabian regulations.
  • Proven experience in developing cybersecurity policies and conducting compliance assessments.
  • Hands-on experience with business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • In accordance with the specific requirements for this role, preference will be given to qualified Saudi .
