Job Description:
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Presales Engineer to support our sales team by designing, positioning, and demonstrating cybersecurity solutions aligned with customer risk, compliance, and business requirements. The role bridges technical depth with commercial execution and plays a key role in winning enterprise and government deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand security challenges, risk posture, compliance requirements, and technical environments.
- Design end-to-end cybersecurity solutions covering network security, endpoint, email, cloud security, data protection, IAM, and secops use cases.
- Deliver technical presentations, solution workshops, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Act as the technical lead during presales cycles, supporting opportunity qualification and solution positioning.
- Work closely with sales, delivery, and secops teams to ensure solutions are technically sound and commercially viable.
- Support RFP/RFI responses, including technical write-ups, architecture diagrams, and compliance matrices.
- Perform solution sizing, bill of materials (BoM), and technical validation with vendors and distributors.
- Stay current with cybersecurity threats, technologies, frameworks, and vendor roadmaps.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, recommending best practices and security architectures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 6+ years of presales or technical experience in cybersecurity solutions.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity domains such as network security, endpoint protection, email security, secops, cloud security, and data protection.
- Experience with enterprise security vendors and integrated security architectures.
- Solid understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to design and explain complex security solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, documentation, and communication skills.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications are a strong advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple opportunities, and support aggressive sales timelines.
