Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager Data & AI Strategy Consulting
Key Responsibilities
Data & AI Strategy
- Develop enterprise Data & AI strategies, operating models, and roadmaps.
- Define and prioritize AI/GenAI use cases, value assessment, and feasibility analysis.
- Evaluate client maturity and design improvement plans aligned to business objectives.
Data Governance & Management
- Design and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and data quality operating models.
- Support Master Data Management (MDM), metadata management, and data cataloging initiatives.
- Define data stewardship roles and data ownership models.
AI & Advanced Analytics Advisory
- Support clients in adopting AI/ML/GenAI platforms and capabilities.
- Conduct AI readiness assessments and develop implementation frameworks.
- Create business cases for analytics initiatives and ROI models.
Program Delivery & Client Engagement
- Lead workstreams and ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and design-thinking sessions with client stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior client leadership.
Internal & Business Development
- Support proposal development, thought leadership, and go-to-market offerings.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
Required Experience
Senior Consultant: 23 years
Assistant Manager: 34 years
Experience must be in consulting or in a strategy/data office role within industry.
Preferred Background
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Core Strategy + Data Expertise
- Data & AI strategy development
- Enterprise data architecture understanding (conceptual level)
- Data governance, data management, and data quality
- Use-case identification and value realization
- GenAI frameworks, prompt engineering awareness, LLMs (high-level)
- Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) data platforms (familiarity)

Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or related fields
- Master's degree (MBA, MIS, Data Science) preferred
- Relevant certifications a bonus:
- DAMA / CDMP
- TOGAF
- Microsoft / AWS Data certifications
- AI/ML Fundamentals (Coursera, Azure AI, etc.)
