Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analysis Senior Specialist to join our Advanced Analyitcs unit. The role focuses on fraud detection analytics, risk pattern identification, and delivering actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to analyze complex datasets, detect anomalies, develop monitoring frameworks, and produce high-quality reports and insights.
This role requires strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, impactful communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify fraud patterns, anomalies, and risk indicators
- Develop and maintain fraud detection reports, dashboards, and monitoring frameworks
- Support the design and refinement of detection logic, thresholds, and analytical models
- Perform deep-dive investigations on suspicious behaviors and emerging patterns
- Translate analytical findings into clear, structured insights and executive-ready reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives
- Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and external clients
- Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics processes, data quality, and reporting standards
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
Experience
- 46 years of experience in data analysis, fraud analytics, risk analytics, or related fields
- Experience working with large datasets in structured environments
Technical Skills
- Strong SQL skills (data extraction, aggregation, joins, window functions)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- Proficiency in Excel for analytical tasks
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus
- Understanding of anomaly detection, risk metrics, or fraud analytics concepts is preferred
