Main Duties:
In this role, the data analyst is responsible for examining complex data sets to uncover valuable insights that support business strategies and operational improvements. The analyst's expertise in data analysis contributes significantly to strengthening a data-driven culture and guiding informed decision-making across the organization
Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize data from production, warehouse, and external sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and maintain data collection systems, pipelines, and processes that optimize efficiency and quality.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities in complex datasets.
- Use BI tools to build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support business needs and decision-making.
- Develop and implement analytical models and statistical analyses (including regression, time series, and forecasting) using Python and R.
- Translate business questions and objectives into measurable analytical projects.
- Communicate insights and findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Support data-driven business strategies through actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver analytical solutions.
- Interpret data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Monitor data quality, validate results, and support initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
- Document data sources, processes, and definitions to improve knowledge-sharing and consistency across the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions aligned with business priorities.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and improvements of reporting systems and pipelines.
- Train end-users on new reports, dashboards, and data tools to enhance adoption and effectiveness.
- Work with senior team members and management to define metrics, track performance, and prioritize business and information needs.
- Identify and recommend process improvements and opportunities for better data-driven decision-making
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline).
- 0-2 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools, particularly Power BI. (PL-300 or DP-600 certification is a plus.)
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, including advanced functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of data cleaning techniques and basic statistical concepts.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to dive deep into data validation
