What Will Your Day Look Like
The Data & Analytics Lead will operate at an enterprise-wide level to drive data and reporting automation and adoption across Agthia, with a strong focus on processes, standards, platforms, services, and operations. The role will leverage AI capabilities in suitable forms, including Generative AI and Agentic AI, to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
This position spans all business units and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Data & Analytics function, coordinating execution across vendors, internal stakeholders, and other Digital & Technology teams to ensure seamless delivery and alignment with business objectives.
How Will You Make an Impact
- Continuously develop and enhance the data infrastructure and analytics capabilities to support the organization's digital transformation, adopting best-in-class technologies where appropriate and commercially viable.
- Design and lead the expansion of Data & Analytics capabilities across the enterprise, balancing in-house delivery and external partnerships in line with Digital & Technology (D&T) strategy.
- Establish and govern data and analytics frameworks, including governance bodies, policies, and standards, to ensure consistency, transparency, and informed decision-making.
- Monitor evolving data protection and privacy regulations and ensure compliance across all relevant multinational jurisdictions.
- Define and implement a comprehensive data security approach, including risk mitigation plans aligned with data classification standards.
- Ensure stability, security, and high service quality of operational systems, while optimizing Data & Analytics spend through effective technology and commercial management.
- Promote policies, processes, and governance models that enable flexibility, agility, pace, and user-centric ways of working across the organization.
- Lead domain vendor management, including onboarding, performance oversight, and delivery of handbooks, best practices, and operational guidance.
- Partner with business and functional leaders to define, agree, and deliver services aligned with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Act as a key contributor to business decision-making by aligning data and analytics initiatives with business priorities and coordinating resources to deliver measurable value.
- Identify and enable opportunities for business growth and innovation through data, digital, and advanced analytics initiatives across the company.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Experience
- 4+ years of functional experience in Data & Analytics roles, covering both internal and external stakeholder environments.
- Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment preferred.
Functional Knowledge
- Proven experience in reporting automation to support decision-making and deliver measurable business value.
- Experience in systems planning, project management, vendor management, and business process mapping.

Technical Competencies
- Strong experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI and Google Data Studio.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration workflows.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Working knowledge of R and/or Python (preferred) for advanced analytics and automation.
- Hands-on exposure to Generative AI and Agentic AI for data analysis and insights generation.
- Broad data platform knowledge, including cloud environments such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AWS, along with data workflows.
- Familiarity with Google, Meta, and Amazon platforms is preferred.
- Digital Media and E-commerce domain knowledge will be a strong advantage.
Arabic speaking is a must.
