Title: Data Analytics Manager
The Data Analytics Manager is responsible for leading the company's analytics function to enable informed, evidence-based decision-making across all business areas. This role drives data strategy, analytics innovation, and business intelligence to support performance monitoring, insights, and strategic transformation objectives.
- Develop and implement the data analytics strategy aligned with the company's transformation roadmap and strategic objectives.
- Build and maintain a centralized data infrastructure and reporting framework to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accessibility of business data. This includes establishing data definitions, KPIs, and reporting standards to ensure consistency across functions.
- Introduce best practices for data quality, documentation, and governance while balancing rigor with speed of execution.
- Design and delivery of business intelligence dashboards and specifically periodic reports and insights for presentations to the leadership of company.
- Identify and deploy advanced analytics methods (e.g., predictive modeling, trend analysis, and performance benchmarking) to support strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights by driving data-driven initiatives to improve customer segmentation, forecasting, pricing optimization, performance tracking, etc.
- Manage relationships internally and externally with data tools vendors and external analytics partners.
- Provide coaching, direction, and performance management to the Data Analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation and data literacy.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or applied analytics
- 2+ years in a people management or team lead role
- Prior Experience in retail, consumer, or supply chain is strongly preferred
- Prior experience building or scaling an analytics function is a major plus
Skills:
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets
- Proficiency in at least one analytics or scripting language (Python or R preferred)
- Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Advanced Excel capabilities including VBA
- Comfort working with imperfect data and evolving data models
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven insights
- Strong communication and storytelling with data
