Data & Analytics Specialist
A role which blends design, data, and field research such as efficacy studies.
This position applies evidence-based design and analytics to drive measurable improvements in K-12 learning outcomes for ALC platform users.
- Evidence-driven design: translating learning science into instructional models, lesson flows, and product features that can be instrumented for impact.
- Research and efficacy studies: developing experimental designs (e.g., pilots, A/B tests, quasi-experiments) and partnering with schools to evaluate learning gains and usage fidelity.
- Data integration: analyzing usage and outcome data, aligning with standards (xAPI, CASE), and generating actionable insights for iteration.
- Collaboration: working closely with product managers, psychometricians, and AI specialists to align efficacy metrics with validity and fairness frameworks.
- Field R&D: coordinating teacher and student feedback loops, and adapting prototypes to ensure cultural and contextual fit in classrooms.
Background: Learning sciences, cognitive psychology, and/or educational technology with strong skills in quantitative research methods, instructional design, and data analysis. Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory, with the ability to communicate research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
