Our client, a leading Construction Consultancy, is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of a major Data Center program in Riyadh. The role will assist project managers in coordinating design, construction, commissioning, and handover activities while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position provides exposure to high-value, mission-critical projects in a consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in day to day project coordination, execution, and reporting.
- Support the preparation and monitoring of project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Track and follow up on action items, milestones, and deliverables.
- Support contract administration, procurement, and commercial activities as required.
- Assist in risk management, change control, and issue resolution.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to construction teams.
- Prepare project documentation, meeting minutes, and reporting dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, safety, and quality standards.
Experiences & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in project management or construction coordination, preferably in data centers or mission critical projects.
- Familiarity with MEP systems, civil/structural works, and construction processes.
- Knowledge of project controls, contract administration, and procurement processes.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and work in a consultancy environment.
- GCC or Saudi Arabia project experience is an advantage.
