Job Description
What You will do:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions using Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake)
- Build and optimize SQL-based data models for reporting, analytics, and advanced use cases
- Develop Power BI dashboards and semantic models, ensuring high performance, scalability, and usability
- Implement Python-based data processing, automation, and analytical workflows
- Translate business requirements into end-to-end analytical solutions
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across datasets
- Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and data scientists to deliver impactful insights
- Optimize query performance and costs in cloud-based data platforms
- Support and enhance SAP-integrated analytics, including data extraction and modeling (SAP BODS knowledge is a plus)
- Document solutions, best practices, and technical designs
What You Will Bring
- 8 years plus experience in Data engineering preferably in the banking industry.
- Strong expertise in Databricks, including Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and notebooks
- Advanced SQL skills (data modeling, performance tuning, complex queries)
- Hands-on Power BI experience, including:
- DAX measures
- Data modeling
- Performance optimization
- Row-level security (RLS)
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analytics, expertise in Databricks, ADF, Python, SQL, ETL and PowerBI
- Experience working with large-scale datasets in cloud environments
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing principles
