Data Enginer

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Data Engineer at iGaming.bet. The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines to support reporting, analytics, and content insights across the platform. Daily responsibilities include implementing and optimizing ETL processes, managing data warehousing solutions, and ensuring data quality, reliability, and security. The role involves collaborating with product, content, and analytics teams to understand data needs, model data structures, and deliver datasets that enable business and editorial decisions. The Data Engineer will also monitor data workflows, troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and document data systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong Data Engineering skills, including experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing to design scalable, well-structured data architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools to integrate and transform data from multiple sources.
• Applied Data Analytics skills to translate raw data into actionable insights and support business and product decisions.
• Experience with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java).
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and services (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data stack tools is beneficial.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and privacy best practices, particularly in digital or online service environments.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural setting, with clear communication and effective time management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Interest in the iGaming or online entertainment industry is a plus.
