• Stand up the governance operating model, councils, and stewardship roles.
• Deploy and curate the data catalog with business glossary and metadata.
• Define data-quality rules, thresholds, and remediation ownership.
• Map end-to-end lineage across source systems, pipelines, and reporting.
• Implement classification, retention, and GDPR/privacy compliance controls.
• Report governance KPIs and drive adoption across business domains.
