Purpose:
This role will play a crucial part in implementing and maintaining robust data governance practices, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and driving the organization toward a mature data governance framework
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the implementation and maintenance of the organization's data governance framework, including the development of policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure adherence to data governance policies and standards, working collaboratively with teams across the organization to enforce compliance.
- Oversee data quality management initiatives, monitoring data quality metrics, and driving continuous improvement in data quality practices.
- Stay current with industry regulations and internal policies, ensuring the organization's data governance practices remain in compliance.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of master data management strategies to ensure consistency and accuracy in organizational data.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of data privacy and security policies, working closely with IT and other departments.
- Develop and conduct training sessions to enhance data governance awareness and capabilities across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with data governance objectives.
- Generate regular reports on key data governance metrics, providing insights into the effectiveness of data governance practices.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in data governance processes and contribute to the overall maturity of the data governance framework.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
- Professional Certificate (CDMP).
