JOB PURPOSE
To lead the development and implementation a data governance and monitor compliance as per the approved policies and procedures.
Description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Data Governance
- Lead the process of creating and maintaining data governance policies and procedures.
- Accountable for enforcing the data governance policies & procedures and escalate issues to the data governance committee.
- Manage the process to monitor data quality, standardization, categorization, classification and data related issues irrespective of the application.
- Lead the process of monitoring and measuring data governance metric.
- Lead the process of identifying data quality issues and coming up with recommendations to fix them.
Personal Data Protection
- Lead the Development and implementation Personal Data Protection in LCGPA in coordination with relevant departments.
- Manage the monitoring the compliance in LCGPA in regard to Personal Data Protection.
- Lead the design of reports to show how data is managed in LCGPA and submit regular reports.
Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports
- Ensure adherence to all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Lead the preparation of timely and accurate reports and functional deliverables to meet the functional requirements in order to achieve the desired efficiency and performance excellence.
