Adecco is hiring a Data Privacy Consultant for our client, a leading company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organization that values innovation, teamwork, and professional growth.

Job Details

Position Title - Data Privacy Consultant

Employment Type - 6-months contract (extendable)

Work Location - Abu Dhabi, UAE

Key Responsibilities

  • Privacy Compliance & Advisory
  • Assess organizational compliance with global data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement privacy policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Advise on cross-border data transfers and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Assessment & Management
  • Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
  • Identify and mitigate privacy risks in business processes and technology solutions.
  • Privacy-by-Design & Technology Enablement
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed privacy controls in systems and applications.
  • Recommend technical and organizational measures for data protection.
  • Training & Awareness
  • Deliver privacy training and awareness programs for employees and stakeholders.
  • Audit & Reporting
  • Support internal and external audits related to data privacy compliance.
  • Prepare reports for senior management and regulators as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications: CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or cybersecurity consulting.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy frameworks.
  • Experience with privacy tools and technologies (e.g., OneTrust).

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, Cloud, IoT) and their privacy implications.
