Job Description
The role holder is responsible for adhering to data quality guidelines and ensuring these are maintained by frequently analyzing data and reporting discrepancies observed or potential root causes of erroneous data. The role holder will handle data across large databases and is required to maintain comparable datasets and abide by information security controls.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
Assist in designing processes and technologies that enable the organization to utilize enterprise data for business intelligence purposes, under the guidance of senior team members.
Contribute to defining data policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices, while assisting in their implementation and enforcement.
Support coordination with the Master Data Quality Manager to define a metadata repository for digitally and physically storing and cataloguing data, while assisting in its maintenance and organization.
Assist in the design and implementation of master data management processes, governance, policies, standards, and tools with the guidance of senior team members.
Contribute to the definition of quality assurance policies and standards to ensure consistency in business intelligence reports, while assisting in the identification and resolution of data quality issues.
Assist in identifying and highlighting data quality issues to improve the accuracy of reports, supporting senior team members in implementing corrective measures and ensuring reliable data for decision making.
Collaborate with the Master Data Quality Manager to provide support in the development, operation, and maintenance of dashboards and reports within the technology environment.
Assist in the installation and configuration of business intelligence tools, hardware, and software components, ensuring their proper functioning and compatibility.
Perform setup and administration tasks for business intelligence users, ensuring their access and permissions align with their roles and responsibilities.
Provide continuous support for the maintenance of business intelligence tools, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operations.
Assist in performing business intelligence performance tuning activities to optimize system performance and enhance the efficiency of data retrieval and analysis.
Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required.
Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English
5 years experience in similar or related field.
Experience in Information Technology / Data Solutions / Networking / Cybersecurity preferred.
