Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Ensures that the database server provides ongoing and continuous service to the various applications
Safeguards the recoverability of data and its integrity
Ensures the security and maximum availability of data as well as its proper performance and efficient storage facilities
Interacts with the Development Unit for assistance in areas related to development and testing and with the Application Support section for issues related to performance analysis and tuning
Upgrades from older Oracle databases to newer versions
Job Requirements & skills:
B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience as an Oracle DBA
Attention to details
Problem solving skills
Good analytical skills
Good command of Arabic and English / French
