We are seeking an Oracle EBS Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and support our Oracle E-Business Suite environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle databases and Oracle EBS environments, particularly in monitoring, backup management, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify that Oracle database instances and listeners are active and responding.
- Monitor tablespaces approaching 90% capacity to prevent out of space errors and downtime.
- Optimize and manage Concurrent Managers within Oracle EBS (Concurrent Manager Tuning).
- Perform daily and weekly database and application backups.
- Monitor backup success and ensure recoverability.
- Troubleshoot database and performance issues upon request.
- Diagnose and resolve Oracle EBS and database-related issues.
- Maintain system stability, performance, and data integrity.
- Provide documentation of configurations, procedures, and issue resolutions.
Required Qualifications
- 24 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g databases.
- Experience supporting Oracle EBS environments.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures.
- Experience in performance monitoring and tuning.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
