Role Description

The Gold Room Podcast is seeking a part-time Database Administrator for a hybrid role based in Dubai, with some flexibility for remote work. The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining database systems, designing and optimizing databases, troubleshooting issues, and implementing replication strategies. The role involves collaborating with the podcast team to ensure data accuracy, security, and functionality to support effective operations.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Database Administration and Database Design
• Expertise in Troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues
• Experience working with various Databases and implementing Replication processes
• Solid understanding of database security and optimization techniques
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
• Prior experience with media or podcast-related data management is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
