Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain datacenter infrastructure, including virtualization and storage systems
- Administer and monitor backup and disaster recovery (DR) solutions
- Ensure data integrity, availability, and compliance with backup policies
- Perform regular backup testing, restoration, and DR drills
- Manage storage systems and optimize capacity planning
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues (Level 2 support)
- Implement replication and data protection strategies
- Maintain documentation and follow best practices for datacenter operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in datacenter operations and backup administration
- Strong hands-on experience in virtualization, backup/DR, and storage management
- Experience in capacity planning and performance optimization
- Solid understanding of enterprise datacenter environments
Certifications (Preferred)
- VMware VCP
- Veeam or Commvault certifications
- Storage-related certifications
Technical Skills
- VMware
- Storage technologies (VNX, NetApp)
- Replication technologies
