Responsibilities:
- Electrical Systems Maintenance:
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems, including switchgear, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems, generators, and power distribution units.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Emergency Power Systems:
- Ensure that emergency power systems, such as backup generators and UPS systems, are in good working condition and perform regular load testing.
- Be on-call to respond to power-related emergencies and take immediate action to restore power in the event of an outage.
- Power Distribution:
- Monitor and manage power distribution within the data center, including load balancing and ensuring redundancy to prevent single points of failure.
- Implement and maintain power distribution best practices to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Electrical Safety:
- Ensure that all electrical systems meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Follow safety protocols and practices when working on electrical equipment.
- Documentation and Reporting:

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in electrical engineering or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an electrical technician, preferably in a data center or critical facility environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and power distribution.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
