We are seeking a highly experienced Delivery Excellence Lead to drive operational excellence, ensure world-class quality standards, and lead the flawless execution of large-scale, multi-milliondollar projects.
This senior leadership role is responsible for building and maturing delivery frameworks, optimizing processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring that all projects meet the highest expectations of quality, performance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Delivery Management
- Define and execute a comprehensive delivery excellence strategy for high-value projects.
- Establish strong governance frameworks, methodologies, and performance standards for large, complex engagements.
2. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Lead initiatives to improve endtoend delivery lifecycle efficiency and reduce timetomarket.
- Conduct regular audits of delivery methodologies and tools, aligning them with best practices.
- Champion Lean, Six Sigma, or similar approaches to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
3. Exceptional Quality Assurance
- Build and manage robust QA frameworks ensuring defect-free and precision-driven deliverables.
- Create stringent quality checkpoints and detailed quality metrics across all project phases.
- Drive a zero-defect mindset through proactive issue resolution and postdelivery quality reviews.
4. Performance Management & Metrics
- Define and track KPIs for delivery performance, resource optimization, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and retrospectives to identify improvement opportunities.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & High-Value Client Management
- Collaborate with senior leaders and delivery teams to align delivery strategies with organizational goals.
- Manage relationships with high-value clients (> $10M) ensuring clarity, expectation management, and satisfaction.
- Act as the escalation point for critical delivery issues.
6. Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with large, complex project portfolios.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead initiatives that strengthen predictability of timelines and outcomes.
7. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor high-performing delivery and quality teams with a focus on accountability and excellence.
- Build capabilities for managing and delivering complex, high-value initiatives.
- Conduct training and workshops on delivery and quality best practices.
8. Technology & Tools
- Ensure effective use of modern delivery, QA, and collaboration tools.
- Recommend innovative technologies to enhance quality, automation, and overall delivery outcomes.
Education & Work Experience:
- 15+ years of progressive experience in delivery management, quality assurance, operational excellence, or related fields.
- Proven track record leading large-scale, complex, multi-million-dollar projects within IT, engineering, or business transformation environments.
- Strong background in building and managing delivery governance, quality frameworks, and continuous improvement programs.
- Demonstrated experience in managing high-performing delivery and QA teams.
- Prior experience working with senior stakeholders, Clevel clients, and high-value accounts.
- Experience implementing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, ITIL, or similar delivery/quality frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
