We are looking for a Delivery Supervisor with hands-on experience in managing driver teams and ensuring timely, efficient delivery operations, contributing directly to customer satisfaction in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily delivery operations and ensure orders are delivered on time and according to service standards.
- Manage driver schedules and assign deliveries based on order volume and delivery zones.
- Track orders from pickup to final delivery and proactively resolve delays or operational issues.
- Coordinate closely with warehouse, customer support, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflows.
- Monitor driver performance, adherence to routes, safety standards, and service quality.
- Handle escalations and urgent delivery issues and take immediate corrective actions.
- Prepare daily and weekly delivery performance reports (on-time delivery, volume, issues).
- Optimize delivery routes to reduce delivery time and operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 24 years of experience in delivery supervision or logistics operations.
- Previous experience in e-commerce, last-mile delivery, or on-demand services.
- Strong knowledge of local areas and neighborhoods, with the ability to optimize routes accordingly.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage peak periods and shifts.
- Familiarity with order tracking systems and delivery reporting tools.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
