Demand Planner (Commercial Team)
A fast-moving FMCG business is hiring a Demand Planner to join its Commercial team in Jeddah. This role is hands-on and execution-focused: you'll run the planning rhythm, align stakeholders, and turn forecasts into clear monthly actions that protect revenue, availability, and stock health.
Important: Applicants must currently be based in Jeddah (this is an on-site role).
- S&OP cadence leadership (monthly / quarterly / annual): align Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics and Finance
- 6-month rolling forecasts across platforms/categories/SKUs, with clear assumptions and accuracy tracking
- Monthly sales deployment: translate plans into executable targets by channel/customer/region and monitor performance vs plan
- Stock & service planning: partner with Logistics/Supply Chain on pipeline, DOS (days of stock), critical stock actions and prevention plans
- Commercial analytics & reporting: sales trends, forecast accuracy, inventory health, scenario planning and business cases
- Planning systems & process discipline: support tools like SAP / IBP / Power BI / Anaplan (or similar) and help improve automation and ways of working
- Act as the connector across Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics (and internal governance) to keep plans aligned and communicated
What we're looking for
- 5+ years experience in FMCG, ideally in Demand Planning / Supply Chain Planning
- Strong commercial mindset (you understand the impact on revenue, service levels, and inventory)
- Confident stakeholder management you can challenge, align, and drive decisions
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; comfortable working at pace
- Solid capability with planning/analytics tools (SAP/IBP/Power BI/Anaplan or similar)
- Advanced Excel + strong PowerPoint
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar
- Fluent English (Arabic is a plus)
