Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Demand Planning Manager Egypt & NA to lead and manage demand planning strategy, forecasting, and S&OP leadership in Egypt. This role requires deep expertise in supply chain planning, strong analytical capabilities, and a proactive approach to crossfunctional collaboration. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and seamless alignment between commercial, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forecasting & Statistical Modeling
    • Develop baseline forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and statistical algorithms.

  • S&OP Leadership
    • Lead monthly S&OP meetings, integrating inputs from Sales/Marketing, Finance and Compare actual forecasts budge.

  • Supply Chain Collaboration & Inventory Optimization
    • Partner with supply chain to manage safety stock and expirysensitive inventory.
    • Manage tenders and demand surges.
    • Ensure marketwise priority and quota allocation during supply constraints.

  • New Product Introduction (NPI)
    • Support launch excellence teams to forecast uptake for new drugs without historical data.

  • KPI Tracking & Continuous Improvement
    • Drive improvements in Forecast Accuracy, BIAS, and OTIF (OnTime, InFull delivery).
    • Monitor forecast vs. actual sales, analyze gaps, and implement corrective actions.

  • Operational Planning & Communication
    • Prepare TM Sales plans aligned with TMS Forecasts and budget.
    • Phase TM Sales plans across rolling 3month horizons.
    • Act as the central communication point between JP Sales, Factory teams and distribution in Egypt markets and north Africa.
    • Manage distributor inventory (Stock in Trade) to minimize outofstock risks.
    • Contribute to budget and latest forecast quarterly processes.
    • Lead monthly PreSOP meetings with sales teams.
    • Highlight sales order requirements, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
    • Lead projects as needed.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, pharmacy, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical company Is a plus. with at least 5 years in demand planning role.
  • Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Experience with SAP IBP, Six Sigma, and analytical tools preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.
