Position
The Deputy Boutique Manager supports the Boutique Manager in driving the commercial success, operational excellence, and team development of the Solitaire boutique. As a key leader within the boutique, the role ensures Dior's standards of client experience, retail performance, and team engagement are consistently delivered. The Deputy Boutique Manager acts as a role model for the team and assumes responsibility for the boutique in the absence of the Boutique Manager.
Job responsibilities
Business Leadership & Commercial Performance
- Support the Boutique Manager in achieving and exceeding boutique sales targets.
- Monitor key retail KPIs including sales turnover, conversion rate, average transaction value, and units per transaction.
- Lead daily business follow ups and sales briefings with the team.
- Identify opportunities to maximize boutique performance.
- Support cross category collaboration to optimize business results.
Client Experience & Client Development
- Ensure an exceptional luxury client experience aligned with Dior standards.
- Develop relationships with high value clients and VIPs.
- Encourage client appointments, private presentations, and client outreach.
- Support the team in building and maintaining strong client portfolios.
- Monitor consistency of service across the boutique.
Team Leadership & People Development
- Support the Boutique Manager in leading and motivating the team.
- Provide coaching on sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Ensure clear communication of targets and expectations.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and team development.
- Participate in performance reviews and development plans.
Boutique Operations & Compliance
- Ensure smooth daily boutique operations.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor stock management and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain visual merchandising and boutique presentation standards.
Leadership Support
- Act as main support to the Boutique Manager.
- Take responsibility for the boutique in the absence of the Boutique Manager.
- Coordinate with regional teams including HR, Retail Operations, and Merchandising.
- Ensure clear communication across the boutique team.
Profile
Experience
- 5 to 7 years experience in luxury retail.
- Previous supervisory or management experience.
- Proven track record in driving sales performance.
