Deputy Rail Systems Director

Systra Egypt is looking for Deputy Rail Systems Director for EET (Green Line) Project for Cairo location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the System design review & supervising the team.
• Coordinate all Systems design review & supervision of activities with the project management team.
• Supervise the design documents related to rail systems, track works and rolling stock supplied and installed by contractor according to the design standards specifications stated in the EPC Contract documents.
• Management of the site supervision in accordance with client requirements.
• Supervision of Rail systems technical evaluation and selection of appropriate technologies and systems.
• Supervise the preparation and delivery of reports for the client.
• Ensure that Contract requirements are understood by all parties and documented such as System and Subsystem requirements documents.

Requirements:

• University degree (bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering)
• General overall experience of 20 years
• 12 years of professional experience in the same field (Rail Transit Projects).
• 5 years of experience in management and implementation of similar transport infrastructure projects and in a similar position.
• Experience working in a similar role on at least one HSR project.
• Good communication and management skills and capacity to negotiate and develop good.
• Fluent in English.
