Project Manager-Tram

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager – Tram to lead the delivery of tramway projects. The candidate should bring extensive experience across systems and civil works, with a strong background in PMC roles and FIDIC contract and claims management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of tram projects from inception to completion.

* Manage both civil works and system components (signaling, telecom, power, etc.) ensuring full integration.

* Represent the project within a PMC (Project Management Consultant) environment.

* Administer and manage contracts based on FIDIC conditions, including handling claims, variations, and disputes.

* Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and authorities.

* Ensure project delivery within scope, time, cost, and quality requirements.

* Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

* Oversee project reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Key Requirements:

* 20+ years of total experience in infrastructure / rail projects.

* Minimum 4–5 years of experience specifically in tram / light rail projects.

* Strong expertise in both systems and civil works.

* Proven experience working in a PMC environment.

* Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and claims management.

* Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred:

* Arabic language skills are an advantage.

* PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Education:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical or related).

* Master's degree is an advantage.
