Design Architect

Job Summary:

Elgabaly Architects, an esteemed architecture design firm known for its innovative and

sustainable design solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior

Architect with a passion for conceptual design to join our dynamic team. As a Junior

Architect specializing in conceptual design, you will have the opportunity to contribute

to a range of exciting projects and work alongside experienced professionals in a

collaborative and inspiring environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and use computational design tools, such as algorithms and scripts, to streamline design processes, including ideation, presentation, analysis, evaluation, interaction, and aesthetic expression.

Conduct research and analysis to support design decisions and inform project development.

Contribute to the development of conceptual design ideas and innovative architectural solutions.

Generate and present design renderings, sketches, and visualizations to communicate and refine conceptual ideas.

Develop client presentations in very high quality using Adobe Creative Suite.

Collaborate with the design team to translate conceptual designs into practical and feasible architectural solutions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

3-5 years of experience.

Strong proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit,

3D Max and SketchUp, as well as Adobe Creative Suite.

Evidence of a good design understanding e.g. a good design portfolio.

Previous experience or coursework in conceptual design and visualization.

Ability to use a variety of media in the development and documentation of a

design project (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).

Excellent research skills and a strong interest in staying updated on industry

trends, materials, and technologies.

A passion for sustainable design and a desire to contribute to environmentally

conscious architectural solutions.

Evidence of the ability to understand design decisions taken by others.
