This role exists for one reason: to lead design.

Our client is an established international architecture and design practice with a strong presence in the Middle East. They are trusted on high-value workplace, hospitality, and mixed-use projects. The Dubai studio is growing and needs a Design Director to set the creative standard.

You will own design vision, mentor senior designers, and shape major commissions from concept to delivery.

What you will do:

Lead design across multiple projects

Define and articulate clear design intent

Guide and challenge senior design teams

Present directly to clients and win their confidence

Elevate design quality across the studio

Integrate AI and emerging tools into design workflows

What matters most:

7+ years in architectural or interior design

Strong portfolio with built work

Proven leadership of design teams

Ability to lead concept and narrative

Confidence in presenting to clients

Experience with Revit and major visualisation tools
